I’m a digital hyper-collage artist from Singapore and assemble all my work using photoshop. I also use neural networks extensively. It’s a process I’ve been working with and refining for the last 13 years. One of my first works was a visual experiment to visualise what my consciousness would look like. So i collated around 80 images that resonated with my life lived as 'Ashley Christudason' and tried to unify them onto 1 digital-canvas using photoshop. That finished piece (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=196980980330470&set=a.144980958863806) is what the still i used for this animation first looked like back in 2008.

Since then it has gone through perhaps 75-100 iterations. I would create new collages altogether and then symmetrically integrate them with past works. Over all this time, the piece has grown from 80 to perhaps 350 odd images which have completely lost their forms and identities to become almost binary bits of information to create what you see. This has also been achieved with the help of running finished iterations through neural networks to create various textures and then reintegrating them back into the work. Layers upon layers upon layers of work completed over 13 years, deconstructing and reconstructing, unified together as one to form what I saw was a harmonious ethereal reality.
