This was shot in Bodie, CA, the biggest ghost town in the United States. The surreal nature of Bodie inspired me to make this piece based on connection. There is an eeriness surrounding the stillness of Bodie. I was touched by the stillness and envisioned the history of the once flourishing town. There's something about a town that vanishes. The character symbolizes my curiosity as to how I want to connect with the past, but I can only use my imagination. The arms symbolize the past and its remnants.
