Here is the illustration unmarred by logos, title, or other things you have to put on a cover that get in the way of the actual illustration. All the inking was done by hand with a brush, then colored digitally.
This file is 300 dpi and 2000 x 3048 pixels
*a version of this was put up, hidden, and then burned before it could be purchased, because I realized I accidentally minted the thumbnail and not the actual full illustration...it was a late night.*

- This is a signed and limited edition digital creation.

What's the name of the short story and what book is it in?
Story sounds great. Send me a link to download it.
I can turn macabre into cuteness.
You can turn macabre into art.
Well done.
thanks and congratulations @Persplex and @mr-monk for taking ownership of one of these. I'm pretty proud of it! It's one that just kinda sums up everything I do all in one piece...drawing wise I mean, not committing suicide. I mean macabre scenes, odd characters, precise linework, ineresting visual perspective...not often those elements all come together in one, without becoming a mess. Often times one or two of those elements work better that using every tool in the box, but in this one it all kinda worked.
Dude that looks funny but actually is really deep:) Respect!
Thanks! Comedy/tragedy is all about which end of the telescope you're on, eh?
