A powerful piece.

A film about loving kindness and the monks who live, embody and carry this message.

A piece that is from a film that had a quietly powerful impact at the time and continues to this day.

A film that was in the hands of some of the most powerful people on this planet who you now hear talk about loving kindness as part of day to day language.

A small feature film -the little engine that could - that was officially Blessed by His Holiness the Dali Lama -(yes who I also photographed) and his team and played not only in cinemas but also Temples and film festivals from New York to Canada to Australia.

A decade ago I was the first person in the world to Direct a feature documentary inside a Temple going into the world of Theravadin Monks-Thai Monks. A happy and indeed popular film that spoke importantly about loving kindness, played and lasted 60 days in cinemas worldwide, won awards, and more. It is archived at the Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences by request.

One of the stills from my time spent with this monks is Phramaha Manit Visetchat. The leader of the main Temple I filmed in. I learned later this image of Phiramaha Manit cycling in his garden that I had put up on some social media account went viral in Asia.

This candid and photo doc image is historic i the NFT space as it is authentic and approved by the Monk and Temple himself. Few know or understand what this entails ,to have made the film and share images, legitmately such as this. Naturally I will be making a equal share donation to the Temple to benefit the entire community with this image.

This seemingly simple happy image..has been a long time coming.

The sub text to the film is racism which much of my work touches on or explores in my own ways to make the world a better place for all
