The first Emanation. It is the font of energy through which The Infinite permeates into the universe. One must envision Keter not as an object that can be perceived, but as the light that is cast upon it. Keter’s light is a force beyond knowability, a timeless expanse of pure consciousness.

It may be helpful to imagine the vertical length of the Tree as a continuum from spiritual to physical, beginning with Keter above all. Journeying downward from this point, all other Emanations become increasingly closer to our present experience.
