By not “looking sick,” these people face prejudices and misunderstandings from others and feel the added burden and stress of having to “prove” and explain their illness to others.
How is it that nobody can discover what I have? Anger, sadness, physical and psychological exhaustion, ... People injured by the impact of a trauma or an adverse event move through the world with an invisible, deep and stark pain. Spontaneous pain sometimes debilitating.
I can have a perfect day and the sharp pain comes out of nowhere, making me shiver or even cry from the pain.

The more I look at your art, the more it speaks to me. Having lived 30 years with Narcolepsy, I completely understand. The daily struggles we overcome , that others will never even know exist, are immense. Another beautiful piece for sure!
Sorry to read this, Tylor :(.
I am affected by central sensibilization syndrome, which includes fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and hyper response to pain. After some complicated surgeries everything started to change in me. Above all, I wanted to reflect any invisible illness, when our appearance is absolutely normal, and no one understands the extreme situation we are suffering, leading to a very bad emotional situation. the lack of empathy of the human being is tremendous, and the lack of medical threatments of diseases not recognized, at least,in my country.
This work is dedicated to all invisible and rare diseases.
Your latest artworks are visualizing a very important and rather not known problem in a great way. I can feel the pain only by watching them!
you always so kind, genius!
Wow I really like the rapid movement in those line strokes, this is a wonderfully abstract portrait!
thank you very much !!!
So true Gala. And you have illustrated the prickliness of the invisible pain so beautifully. Recently listing to a book review of studies that have been done in relationship to the psychological damages caused by the horrors of war. So many people suffer but don't want to/can't talk about it. ⚖️⚖️💖⚖️⚖️
Yes, life is cruel and the carency of empaty for others is big.
