The Banshees took the stage at the first-ever punk festival at The 100 Club in 1976. Ever since that show, a performance that largely consisted of heavy notes and the Lord’s Prayer being yelled at a searingly high volume, the band has been the foreword in avant-garde rock. Siouxsie Sioux sounded like nothing else before her, she had a voice as coldly foreboding as a ghostly sea siren and whose music sounded like glass shattering.

I started as a music photographer working as a staff photographer on Record Mirror and Sounds and freelancing to NME, Melody Maker, The Face Magazine and most record companies during the burgeoning punk scene in the mid-1970s. I had unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the musicians and artists of London's early punk scene.

My work has been published, exhibited and collected worldwide. The collection, in particular, was purchased by the famous "Hard Rock Cafe" rock memorabilia collection. This image is displayed in their cafes and hotels around the world.

Over time I will be releasing 52 NFT images from my last exhibition, "The End of Generation X", at the Proud Gallery, London, in 2015. It will include; Johnny Rotten, The Clash The Damned, Paul Weller, Ian Dury, Peter Murphy, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, UB40 to name a few.
