Tolkien - The Old Forrest

My first contact with the World of Tolkien was when I saw the The Lord of the Rings from 1978 on my friends Bets max video player (you might like to google that ancient movie player 😆) Its a animated film directed by Ralph Bakshi. and It is an adaptation of J. R. R. Tolkien's high fantasy epic The Lord of the Rings. Although It might lack the advanced film effects of the later trilogy directed by Peter Jackson, it still had the power to get my fantasy spinning, and with its colourful images and suggestive style it shaped my vision of Middle-earth for years to come. I then decided to read the Hobbit and i was stuck, i moved on to the Lord of the ring trilogy, book of lost tales, and everything I could get my hands on. The one place that got to my mind the most is the old forest, the dense magic ancient feeling really made me feel as i was there, walking along the narrow pathways to Tom Bombadils cabin. So i will start Tolkien interpretation and tribute by walking through the Old Forrest, and i hope you like to join our fellowship on the journey.
