It's an exploration of black skin to bring a stronger, more positive Black identity. This series of digital artworks is issued from paintings by Hawa-Jane which was produced in Freetown (Sierra Leone) for the December 2020 exhibition named "In Black We Trust" to show solidarity with the BLM movement and hope for more social justice in Africa. Hawa-Jane's ambition is to rebuild Sierra Leone's Art scene piece by piece through the art group, The Barray, comprised of about 15 visual artists since 2013.
